Political Science and International Relations

The Department of Political Science and International Relations brings together two fundamental disciplines that seek to understand the theory and practice of politics at the local and international levels and that examine political systems, actors, and behaviours. Our department offers a rich education with its qualified teaching staff and comprehensive pool of elective courses.

Career Opportunities Academic Career: Universities, research centres, think tanks. Public Sector: Central government organisations, ministries, local administrations. Private Sector: The external relations, strategic planning, and communication units of commercial companies. Diplomatic Institutions: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, embassies, consulates, and international representative offices. International Organisations: The United Nations, the European Union, the OECD, the World Bank, and similar institutions. Non-Governmental Organisations: NGOs working on themes such as human rights, development, the environment, and migration. Governance and Justice: Public administration, local administrations, and justice and audit institutions.
