Civil Air Transportation Management
About the Programme
The Civil Air Transport Management department aims to train qualified personnel who can effectively carry out the business, management, operational and service processes of airline companies. Within this scope, it provides in-depth knowledge in fundamental airline management subjects such as passenger and cargo transport, flight planning and air traffic management, thereby imparting sectoral expertise; at the same time, it trains managers who can lead in units such as general management, operations, marketing, finance and human resources. While the department aims to create professionals compliant with aviation standards by teaching the legislation, safety procedures and emergency management of national and international organisations such as ICAO, DGCA and IATA, it also imparts the ability to provide a high-quality passenger experience in customer-oriented processes such as check-in, baggage handling, in-flight service and complaint management.
