First and Emergency Aid
About the Programme
The aim of the programme is to train qualified First and Emergency Aid Technicians (Paramedics) who, in pre-hospital emergency services, carry out basic and advanced life support applications, perform medical interventions aimed at preventing permanent damage, and safely transport patients/injured persons to hospital.
Graduates of the programme, as First and Emergency Aid Technicians (Paramedics), can work as health personnel at the Command Control Centre (KKM) within the Emergency Health Services Directorate and at 112 EMS stations, in the emergency departments of state, university and private hospitals, in organisations providing private ambulance services, and, as required by law, in hazardous workplaces.
