About the Programme
Nursing is a profession that aims to protect and improve the health of the individual, the family, and society, and that is open and responsive to innovation. Nurses are professionals who are in great demand both in Turkey and around the world, who are in short supply in numerical terms, and who have employment opportunities in a variety of fields.
Graduates of the department can provide health care addressing the needs of healthy and sick individuals as well as families and society through preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. They can work in private and public health institutions, universities, state hospitals, schools, factories, and family health centers. In addition, they can specialize by participating in certificate programs in areas such as Intensive Care Nursing, Diabetes Nursing, and Infection Nursing. With an awareness of lifelong learning, they can continue their academic development and work as academics at universities.
