About the Programme
The aim of the programme is to train Anaesthesia technicians who, in the Anaesthesiology and Reanimation units of health institutions and organisations, can prepare patients before surgery, prepare and use the necessary equipment in anaesthesia and analgesia applications, monitor and record vital functions during procedures, and fulfil their professional responsibilities and duties in accordance with legal frameworks and ethical rules as part of a team in anaesthesia applications for special patients and types of surgery; who have advanced knowledge and skills; and who are authorised to develop and update the skills and competencies related to their own field.
The anaesthesia technician is a health professional who applies the medical methods related to putting the patient to sleep in all types of surgery in accordance with the physician’s instructions, and who assists the physician in anaesthesia work.
