International Trade and Logistics

The Department of International Trade and Logistics at Hasan Kalyoncu University aims, through an interdisciplinary program, to educate students who can adapt to the changes of the information age, integrate with world science, compete in the international market, think analytically, and are entrepreneurial, free, rational, fair, and solution-oriented. Our academic program enhances your learning performance by providing you with a solid foundation in logistics, marketing, economics, finance, business administration, law, quantitative analysis, communication technologies, and international business. Education is provided in two important areas. In the field of International Trade, education is provided in distinct yet complementary areas such as the transactions and practices related to imports and exports carried out by multinational companies, documents used in foreign trade, the financing of foreign trade, and customs legislation. Logistics, on the other hand, does not consist solely of transportation activities. Logistics is the science of coordinating, within an economic plan, activities such as the receipt and storage of goods, services, information, and living assets, and their transportation to the point where the customer needs them. Our department has a 30% English language of instruction and includes mandatory preparatory class education. The opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus+ exchange program is also offered. Our students pursuing different career plans have the opportunity to complete minor and double major programs in different departments. Thanks to the technical trips conducted during the learning and education process and the panels bringing together participants from the sector, our students have the opportunity to find the answers to the questions they are curious about in practice. In the final semester of their 4-year study plans, our students have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice in the sector within the scope of "Applied Training in Industry (CO-OP)". Our students can complete their CO-OP training in Turkey and abroad. We continue our education at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels in order to equip you, the future professionals of the business world, to take on responsibility in global markets in your field.
