Tourism Management

The aim of the Tourism Management Department is to train tourism professionals who can carry out successful work at an international level in tourism, a dynamic sector; who possess the academic and human qualities the sector needs; who have strong skills in producing creative ideas and solving problems; and who contribute to the multifaceted sustainability of the sector.

Graduates of the Tourism Management Department can work in hotel businesses, travel agencies, tour operators, airline companies, cruise businesses, food and beverage businesses, destination management organizations and event organization firms. In addition, they have the opportunity to work in public institutions, local governments, tourism consultancy companies and non-governmental organizations. Graduates who can specialize in the fields of management, marketing, human resources, sales, customer relations and operations also have the opportunity to establish their own businesses through entrepreneurial activities.
