Guidance and Psychological Counseling

The Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Hasan Kalyoncu University aims to train psychological counselors who are open to change, productive, committed to ethical values, and possess scientific thinking skills, meeting the needs of our country in the face of cultural, economic, and technological changes.

Undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs are carried out in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, which is part of the Faculty of Education. Both theoretical and applied courses are offered in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. Through the applied courses conducted within the undergraduate program, students complete internships at many institutions that provide guidance and psychological counseling services to different groups. In addition, students gain research and project development experience through research-oriented courses.
