Radio, Television and Cinema

In the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, our students develop themselves both through courses taught by faculty members who are experts in their field and through workshops with directors, producers, and artists invited from within Turkey and abroad, who open new horizons for them.

In addition, our students prepare for the profession in application facilities such as the TV Studio, HKÜ Radio (106.8), Pocket Cinema, and the Greenbox Studio. By completing external internships at major media organizations such as TRT, Anadolu Agency, ATV, and Sabah, as well as in local media, they also have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the field.

The "Golden Baklava Film Academy International Student Film Festival," held every year at our university and having gained national and international recognition, is an event carried out with the active participation of our students; enriched with screenings, panel discussions, and cultural excursions, it brings together young filmmakers from all over the world, from Argentina to Romania, from Lebanon to Belgium, and offers young filmmakers the opportunity to make themselves known.

Our department has been admitted to CIFEJ, an international network in the field of cinema for children and young people. In addition, a corporate-level agreement has been signed with BEFMA, the main purpose of this collaboration being to enrich the "training of trainers" processes in the field of media and to increase institutional capacity. These international partnerships provide a high-quality framework for the sustainable development of student and faculty mobility through joint production and training projects.
