Court Office Services

Learning Outcomes of the Program

Students graduating from the Court Office Services Program;

1. Know the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, laws and regulations, and the Turkish judicial system.

2. Know the general principles and rules that those working in the legal services sector must know.

3. Know the hierarchical structure of courthouses.

4. Have the knowledge and skills to type quickly, fluently and without errors with ten fingers on an F-keyboard.

5. Have the ability to use computers.

6. Have the knowledge and competence to work in enforcement offices.

7. Have knowledge at a level sufficient to carry out the filing and archiving of courts and law offices.

8. Carry out all kinds of official correspondence procedures.

9. Have general skills in the field of accounting.

10. Know how to use the UYAP system.

11. Have decision-making skills, fulfilling their responsibilities within the limits of their authority.

12. Have the ability to reach quick solutions and conclusions regarding problems that may arise.

13. Have the ability to communicate within the structure of the Ministry of Justice in accordance with protocol

rules.

14. Know that they represent the Ministry of Justice and that, while on duty, they must set an example for their colleagues and for the citizens

they serve.

15. Can continuously improve themselves by following current developments in the field of law.

16. Can carry out their duties with an awareness of ethical values and their social responsibilities.

17. Communicate using the Turkish language correctly.

18. Can make arrangements with an awareness of protocol rules when ceremonies, meetings, receptions, official gatherings

and visits take place within the institution.

Regarding where graduates of the program may be employed and the market

demand for these graduates;

Students graduating from the Court Office Services Program hold the status of “auxiliary justice personnel” within the justice system

and may pursue one of the professions listed below;

Court Registry Office Director

Court Clerk

Court Usher

Court Registry Officer

Enforcement Office Director

Prison Director

Correctional Officer

Lawyer's Clerk

Protocols regarding internship placement practice and training;

Internship placement practice and training are carried out within courthouses, as a result of applications made by students

under the National Internship Program of the Human Resources

Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. Students who cannot be placed in a courthouse internship through their National Internship

Program application have the opportunity to complete an internship for one semester alongside Lawyers registered with

any Bar Association affiliated with the Union of Turkish Bar Associations. The internship training and practice of the Court Office Services

Program is carried out within the scope of the Vocational Training in the Workplace course, in the fourth semester of

the education.

DGS Transfer Opportunities;

In addition to these, graduates of the Court Office Services department may apply, through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS),

to the departments of Public Relations and Publicity, Business Administration, Public Administration, and Political Science and Public Administration,

as well as to the undergraduate programs announced by ÖSYM and specified

in the examination booklet.
