English Language Teaching

Research projects hold an important place in our English Language Teaching Department program. Our students actively participate in various research activities that deepen their field knowledge and support it with innovative teaching practices.

In the final year of the program, through the internship program carried out at schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education within the scope of the Teaching Practicum course, our students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired during their undergraduate studies in real classroom settings.

Our graduates can work as English teachers in public and private schools at different levels of education; they also gain the opportunity to work in academic or administrative positions at universities. In addition, they have employment opportunities in various sectors such as translation, public relations, human resources, and banking.

Our English Language Education Thesis Master's Program, opened in 2025, aims to contribute to the academic and professional development of our graduates by providing in-depth knowledge and research skills in the field. Students who graduate from this program can engage in teaching and research activities, and at the same time continue with doctoral studies in their field.
