Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering
About the Programme
In the Department of Aerospace Engineering, our students study for five years, comprising one year of preparatory study and four years of undergraduate education, with 100% English as the language of instruction. Our department provides students with innovative thinking the resources necessary to develop their ideas and produce prototypes. Through the mandatory internship at the end of the third year included in our curriculum, our students transfer their theoretical knowledge into practice, become closely acquainted with how the industry operates, and gain fundamental professional experience; meanwhile, the full-time, long-term internship carried out in the second semester of the fourth year under the CO-OP Program aims to help them develop their professional knowledge, skills, and work experience.
Our students have the opportunity to complete internships at prestigious institutions such as TUSAŞ, TEI, Baykar, Roketsan, Aselsan, Havelsan, TÜBİTAK SAGE, and Alp Havacılık, and to work at these institutions after graduation.
