Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Electrical and Electronics Engineering operates in many fields such as electronic circuits, communication systems, electromagnetic structures, antennas, optics and control systems, using physics, mathematics and computational methods. It plays a critical role in the telecommunications, industrial automation, health technologies and energy sectors.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program at Hasan Kalyoncu University offers comprehensive education in areas such as power systems, signal processing, digital and analog circuit design, microelectronics, communications and microwave systems. Through departmental and free elective courses, students have the opportunity to specialize in the subjects they are interested in.
The program has laboratory facilities that support theoretical education with practice:
Electrical–Electronics Circuits Laboratory
Microprocessors Laboratory
Digital Signal Processing Laboratory
Electrical Machines/Power Electronics Laboratory
Communications Laboratory
Simulation Laboratory
Software and Development Laboratory
Automation/Control Laboratory
Electrical and Electronics Engineering: A Choice Shaping the Future
This field has high employment potential on a global scale. Growth in areas such as the electronics industry and renewable energy offers graduates broad career opportunities. Data from TESİD and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics show that this profession is a strong choice both for today and for the future.
KO-OP Education Model and MÜDEK Accreditation
HKÜ successfully implements the KO-OP model, which offers its students an education integrated with the business world. Students make a strong start to their professional lives by gaining direct experience in the industry before graduating. The department also documents, through its MÜDEK accreditation, that it provides quality education in line with national and international engineering standards.
Thanks to this holistic approach, HKÜ graduates attain a globally competitive position as individuals who are well-equipped both theoretically and practically.
