Banking and Insurance

The Department of Banking and Insurance aims to train innovative individuals who are experts in their field, who can adapt to the rapidly changing dynamics of the financial sector, who reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications, who possess analytical thinking ability, and who are committed to ethical values.

Students gain business practice and project experience in the sector through voluntary internship opportunities and TEKNOFEST and TÜBİTAK projects.

Their sectoral knowledge and experience are enhanced through collaborations, seminars, conferences, and career days. Through the CO-OP programme, students acquire 14 weeks of real work experience.

Graduates can enjoy a wide range of employment opportunities in various institutions such as banks, insurance companies, investment firms, and financial consultancy companies, and can take an active role in national and global financial markets. In addition, students with postgraduate career goals will also have the opportunity to become academics.
