Banking and Insurance

The Hasan Kalyoncu University Vocational School Banking and Insurance Program is a two-year

associate degree program designed to train qualified intermediate personnel who possess the knowledge

needed by the finance, insurance and risk management sector, can think analytically and are ready

for the requirements of the digital age. Thanks to our new curriculum, adapted to the 3+1

education model, our students, after completing their theoretical and applied courses in the first three semesters,

spend the final semester entirely within the sector, undertaking vocational training in the workplace.

This structure ensures that our graduates step into life not only with a diploma, but with real work experience,

a professional network and sectoral connections.

3+1 Vocational Training in the Workplace Model

One of the strongest features of our program is the 3+1 education model

implemented with the new curriculum. In this model, students take theoretical and applied

courses at the university during the first three semesters and spend the final semester (the 4th semester) entirely in the sector. This period, conducted within the scope of Vocational

Training in the Workplace, involves learning by actually working at insurance companies, fintech firms, financial advisory

offices, leasing organizations and other enterprises in the finance sector.

In this way, our graduates possess real

sector experience and a professional network when they step into working life.

A Strong and Up-to-Date Curriculum

Our restructured curriculum has been designed to fully respond to the contemporary needs of the

finance sector. The core professional courses have been updated in line with the Advisory Board's opinions and
